To Gift or Not to Gift : Should you Leave Welcome Gifts for your Guests?

We asked vacation rental owners if they leave any gift item(s) for their guests at check-in. The results are in and almost 75% of hosts DO leave some kind of welcome gift for their guests. 

 
Leaving a small welcome gift is a great way to make a good first impression, introduce your guests to the area and exceed rental expectations!

Here are a few things that your fellow superhosts are leaving in their welcome baskets:

• Chocolates
• Wine
• Craft beer
• Fresh fruit
• Baked goods
• Special teas and coffees
• A personalized note
• Small stuffed toy if there are young guests

Get creative and, if you can, try to use local, artisanal suppliers.
